Whilst we don't expect our visitors to participate in the children's education and care, we do encourage interaction with them. They have enjoyed in the past:
  • looking at the globe and atlas to find visitors' home towns, and follow their travels so far
  • looking at their homes and towns on Google Earth
  • finding books at home and the library about the country our visitors come from, and talking about school, food, shopping, weather, celebrations and other topics
  • making music
  • playing Uno, other card games and board games, especially Chess
  • watching movies together
  • running about outside together, soccer games, frisbee and jumping on the trampoline
  • care of the youngest, including stories, puzzles, pretend play, exploring outside...
The cultural exchange and positive influence on our children is one of the main reasons we decided to become WWOOF and HelpX hosts. We hope you can feel welcome and relaxed with our family.
